DELIVERY OF PUPPIES within the UNITED STATES
|
Aside from being a lover of dogs,
I have a passion for aviation.
On Christmas eve of 2005, I acquired my private pilot's
certificate after years of training. While I am not able to fly
for hire by way of the limitations of the certificate itself, It
could certainly be worked out that I fly to your hometown,
with one of my puppies on board a small plane.
You would meet me at the closest local airport.
If it's not feasible for me to get the pup there by way of
small plane, then I'm also happy to take a little 8 week old
on a jet as a carry-on.
It'd be a great way for me to see different cities around
America for a day too! There's also the option of you flying
into Charlotte/Douglas International Airport. From there,
I'm only a short drive away.
You see... until that pup leaves my home, bound for your
home, (it's new home), then it's still my pup.
I will be raising it as my own dog.
Given the choice, I would rather a pup be handed off from
me, to you. Whether that be because you drove to me, or I
planned a flight with the pup in tow, or whatever and
however it shakes out, I prefer it 100% over shipping the
dog.
I'm a self admitted control freak, and by using an outside
party, (a delivery service), I put someone besides myself or
the new family in charge of that puppy's well being. I'd
prefer to skip that step if at all possible.
I don't think that animal delivery services are a bad thing if
it's the only option, I would just rather not ship puppies if
other arrangements could be made.
