IS A CANE CORSO
THE RIGHT DOG FOR YOU?
HOME PAGE

NO, I we will not sell you a dog simply 'cause ya got the money!

I have to know a little bit about you, your experience with dogs,
the reason you want to get a dog from me, and the type of home the
dog will be going to.

I may ask you to supply me with a list of references.

Obviously, if you are a family that just lost your old Rottweiler to old
age and you have known your next dog would be a Corso, well then I'm
not going to be running you through the ringer...
But if you are 18 years old, never had a dog before, never really been
around dogs much, live in a small apartment in the city but want a
Corso cause you think they're cool, then we got some talking to do....
a Cane Corso is a cool dog, but probably not the right dog for you.

This is not meant to be a personal thing, but I have to make sure that I
am doing what is necessary to ensure that my pups are going to a stable
home with someone capable of giving the them the time, discipline,
and all around care that a Corso dog requires.
I don't want my dogs to be fought, end up in rescue programs, tied out
back to trees, stuck in apartments 23 1/2 hours out of the day, or
worse yet - end up on the six O'clock news!

Previous experience with dominant breed dogs IS required!

These are not mean dogs!!!
They are however, head-strong dogs that will take over
if you do not.
They are not a breed for the faint of heart.

My dogs are not to be given as "gifts"
Unless we are talking about for someone in your immediate family and
you are planning on taking care of the dog 100% as if it were your own.

I don't want you to go surprising your boyfriend with a puppy...
get my drift?

Getting a Cane Corso should be a well thought out process that is not
taken lightly.  You should be ready to take care of the dog for the next
11 years or so, as this will be your dog's average lifespan
